About Me
Filmmaker. Motion Designer. Video Producer.
Born in Russia and moving to Latvia at 13, my life has been rich with diverse experiences that sparked my love for filmmaking at just 14 years old. With my dad's camera in hand, I pursued a filmmaking diploma in Riga (Latvia) and then moved to Amsterdam to study Media and Culture at the University of Amsterdam.

My key achievements:
-
Earned "Top Rated Seller" and "Fiverr Pro" status within one year, accumulating 200 reviews with a perfect 5.0 rating and frequently nominated for the "Fiverr's Choice" badge.
-
Drove significant growth for client channels through expert post-production, including increasing Dr. Draw's subscribers from 300 to 75K, The Aging Games' from 100 to 36K, and Crypto Capital Venture’s from 100K to 300K.
-
Increased a stretching studio's Instagram followers by 1,500 and boosted sales by 20% in 2 months through effective content management and creation.
-
Successfully monetized my own YouTube channel within a year, attracting over 6,000 subscribers and amassing over 600K views.
-
Directed and led a team in the 48 Hour Film Project, resulting in 4 nominations and first place in one category at the festival.

My creative pursuits also led me to start two YouTube channels, one of which, Polina Gif, is my current side project. On this channel, I make video essays and analyses for passionate film, TV, and animation fans, sharing my insights and fostering a community of like-minded enthusiasts.

Overall, my journey is driven by a deep love for storytelling and a commitment to creating meaningful, impactful content. Whether behind the camera or in the editing suite, I am dedicated to bringing stories to life and connecting with audiences on a profound level.
